These were shot with my camera on a tripod. I had natural light and wanted to photograph these two items alone. So, I set my ISO to 100 and I overexposed the shots. The overexposure simply wiped out the white surface background and kept my objects colors and form intact. The exposures lasted about 15 seconds from the time I pushed the shutter button.
